My 2018 Tesla Model 3 – RESERVED!!!

Well, my Telsa Model 3 is reserved – along with the other 115,000 people that put down a reservation fee on a 2018 Testla Model 3.

Model 3:

  • Seats 5 adults
  • 215 Mile Range
  • Supercharging standard
  • 15 inch LCD Control Panel
  • Glass Roof
  • Two Trunks
  • Autopilot Hardware
  • 0-60 In Under 6 Seconds (Base Model)
  • $35,000 Retail
  • $7,500 Federal Tax Credit
  • $27,500 Net Price

The car, without options at $35,000 less incentives will be the best $35,000 car on the road.  Currently the Federal Tax Credit on this vehicle would be $7500 so it is effectively $27,500.  That is less that a Nissan Altima equipped comparably.  But the Model 3 performs better and is cheaper to operate.  Tesla will have doubled the superchargers they have by the end of 2017 and quadrupled the destination chargers by the same time.

The countdown begins…

Washington Kastles – Oh My Goodness Mr. Ein

Okay, I was bad and didn’t really post about the end of the Australian Open since I was not happy that Serena lost in the final to Angelique Kerber.  And then Serena came back to play at Indian Wells and Venus joined her this year.  However, my least favorite ex-Kastle, the one and only “pig squealer” Vika Azarenka defeated Serena in the final.  Sasha – you traitor!!!

But Friday, March 25, 2016 was the World Team Tennis Draft – in two parts – the Marquee player portion and the non-marquee portion.  Not being surprised at all, my most beloved sports team owner traded up in the Marquee Player part of the WTT draft and secured Bob and Mike Bryan.  We have also added Mardy Fish and brought back Sam Querrey, Madison Brengle, Martina Hingis, Anastasia Rodionova and our venerable, beloved team captain Leander Paes.  And of course “Murph” is back as our coach.

This should be a helluva season!!!

Thank you Mark Ein!!!
